We ran the business first. Then we built the software.
gynny started as a retail and wholesale operation. The tools we needed didn't exist, so we built them — and they worked. That software is now nawa, and it runs businesses like the one we ran.

We ran the till, managed the stock and chased the supplier. The software answers problems we had ourselves.

A local database first, cloud sync second. When the connection drops, the business keeps trading.

Windows, macOS, Linux, web, Android and iOS — one codebase, so every platform gets the same release.
Arabic and English
Full right-to-left throughout, designed in from the start rather than translated on afterwards.

03 — Where this came from
An idea that kept coming back for years — then a shop that needed it, and no software that fit.
gynny began in Lebanon in 2017, trading in retail and wholesale. Running that business is where the real education happened: what actually breaks at the counter, what stock control costs when it's wrong, and how quickly software becomes useless the moment the internet goes down.
So we built our own. It worked — well enough that other businesses wanted it, and well enough that building it became the work. That experience is still how we decide what goes into a product, and what stays out.
